The shirt design emulates the side-profile image on the ‘Penelope Three’ album cover. To give the shirt design more of a sense of timelessness, I wanted to pay homage to high-contrast silhouette art of the 1960’s, which was a resurgence of late 18th and early 19th century side-profile portraiture.
'Penelope Three' explores tales of motherhood, the divine feminine, anxiety, healing powers and their spiritual connections through vocal loops, piano and guitar drenched in reverb, all underpinned by subterranean drones.' Penelope Trappes
