'Beth Gray is a young New Zealand designer and cordwainer whose handmade boots and leather goods are sought-after collectors’ items. A close friend of David Keenan, Beth channels an aesthetic that is in tune with the NZ experimental music scene while underscoring the magical NZ motif that runs through Boyhood, Keenan’s seventh novel. Her t-shirt design draws on post-punk and industrial fashion with a radical re-tooling of the iconic cover image of Boyhood originally shot by Douglas Corrance in Glasgow in 1979.' - David Keenan
