Project 137. 1 of 100 x Dot Allison!

We've followed Dot's career since the early days of the now legendary One Dove right up to her beautiful latest album, 'Consciousology'. Dot never sits still, always creating, pushing forward and she loves to collaborate with other artists, we are buzzing it's now with us! The artwork is by PJ Harvey collaborator Maria Mochnacz, more from Dot on how it all came together below.

'They were created by Maria specifically for the album and emerged over a period of time when we spoke about the concept and she showed various incarnations of ideas as we progressed … they were part of the same wave of ideas submissions as the ‘scattered slices’ covers of which there was part of a stylistic collection or set also … the tracings were considered for a cover but then we went with the scatters in colour and kept for the inner gatefold & label of the actual vinyl ..

I think the process might be Maria’s secret sauce :) but they were specifically commissioned pieces of art work and we looked over them and discussed what best represented the music and all design ideas are Maria’s IP inspired by her immersing herself in the record and living ‘in it’ to a degree and then following regular discussions between us, we curated what made it onto the campaign one way or another .. ' - Dot Allison

Please check out Dot's latest album, it's one of the albums of the year - Consciousology
