Project 133. 1 of 100 x Hardcore Uproar x Dean Marsh!

Another exclusive and we couldn't be happier! To have been asked to collaborate with Tommy Smith and celebrate the impact and influence that the Hardcore Uproar parties had is another dream collab. Dean Marsh (Acid House Cycling Club) nailed the design as usual, and Jay Wearden brought his infectious good vibes to this party. The fact that this is the first ever product produced is a proud moment for 1 of 100. We're High On Hope.

ONLY ONE T-SHIRT PER CUSTOMER PLEASE. WE WILL REFUND ANY MULTIPLES.

'Not all cultural history is taught in classrooms or recognised by academia. That doesn’t mean that it isn’t important or that what happened didn’t affect a great number of people. Hardcore Uproar did this, they did with no sense of self or need to be recognised. They literally delivered what the Beastie Boys threatened …’Fight For Your Right to Party

In the late eighties, they galvanised thousands into one movement, one gathering. Never for profit, not without risk to themselves or their freedom.

To be in those convoys of hundreds of cars being shepherded by a huge police presences was to be part of a revolution. That revolution was to think for yourself, to not accept the life handed down to you. This came in a time when it was needed most. It was a positive beacon, something that was ours.

I can remember watching the TV debate on the criminality of warehouse parties. A politician tore into the lawlessness of what we did and piled on negativity our culture represented.

Tommy Smith stood and gave an historic riposte that immediately filled us all full of pride. It was history, he planted our flag in the sand claiming our place and our rights. He destroyed the MP and there was no coming back. “We are HIGH ON HOPE” ringing in his ears. From that moment on, everything changed.’ - Jay Wearden
