Our fourth collaboration is with creative genius Pete Fowler. He’s influenced by animals, music, folklore, myths and psychedelia. He’s worked with Super Furry Animals and created the Monsterism vinyl toy world. Pete Fowler exhibits his art across the world. And he also DJs. He works in lots of media, including drawing, painting, animation, printmaking and sculpture.
‘I’ve been interested in the Ouroboros motif for some time and only recently discovered the symbolism of it. The circular nature of life but also the idea of self consumption. All seemed quite relevant in these times. I tend to look way back in time for inspiration for some of my work and love the sense of timelessness that some images have. Also symbolism means different things to people so interpret this as you wish.’
